Onelinedrawing in Bakersfield

Onelinedrawing is the American solo project of singer-songwriter Jonah Matranga, who began using the name in 1997 alongside his work with Far and New End Original. Its intimate indie rock and acoustic songwriting are represented by the albums Visitor and The Volunteers, including songs such as “14-41” and “Smile.” Jonah Matranga retired the Onelinedrawing name in 2004 after years of DIY touring, then revived it for later releases and performances. The project has appeared in clubs, all-ages spaces and house-show settings. At these performances, Jonah Matranga sings, plays guitar and builds additional parts with loop pedals.
