Onslaught in Geiselwind

Onslaught are a British thrash-metal band formed in Bristol in 1982. They began in hardcore punk before adopting the speed and heavy riffing heard on the albums Power from Hell, The Force and In Search of Sanity. Their best-known songs include “Power from Hell,” “Metal Forces” and “Let There Be Death.” Onslaught re-formed in 2004 and resumed playing clubs and metal festivals. A 2007 performance at Stodoła in Warsaw was documented on Live Polish Assault 2007; the following year they played Damnation Festival in Leeds, and that set was released as Live Damnation.
