Paleface Swiss & Counterparts in Sydney

Paleface Swiss is a Swiss deathcore band formed in Zurich in 2017. Originally billed as Paleface, the group adopted its current name in 2023. Its music draws on beatdown hardcore and nu metal, and key releases include the album Fear & Dagger and the tracks “The Orphan” and “Please End Me.” The Fear & Dagger North America Tour took the band through clubs in the United States and Canada in 2023, supported by Enterprise Earth, Crown Magnetar and VCTMS. Paleface Swiss returned to North America in 2024 as part of a tour headed by The Ghost Inside, also featuring Bleed from Within and Great American Ghost.

Counterparts are a Canadian melodic hardcore band formed in Hamilton, Ontario, in 2007. Their music pairs metalcore weight with melodic guitar lines and Brendan Murphy’s vocals; key releases include The Difference Between Hell and Home, Tragedy Will Find Us, You’re Not You Anymore, Nothing Left to Love and A Eulogy for Those Still Here. “The Disconnect” and “Whispers of Your Death” are among their best-known songs. Counterparts played the Vans Warped Tour in 2017, then joined Parkway Drive’s North American Reverence tour in 2018. Their 2022 North American headline run behind A Eulogy for Those Still Here took the band through club and theatre rooms, supported by SeeYouSpaceCowboy, Dying Wish and Foreign Pain.
