Palito Ortega in San Salvador de Jujuy

Palito Ortega is an Argentine pop singer and actor, born Ramón Bautista Ortega in Lules, Tucumán, in 1941. He became known through the nueva ola movement of the 1960s and songs including “La felicidad,” “Corazón contento,” “Despeinada” and “Un muchacho como yo.” Palito Ortega performed at Carnegie Hall in New York in 2018, presenting songs drawn from across his recording career. He later took the Gracias farewell tour around Argentina and brought the run to Luna Park in Buenos Aires in 2022.
