Panda is a Mexican rock band formed in Monterrey in 1996, known for pop-punk and alternative rock. Albums including Para ti con desprecio and Amantes sunt amentes produced signature songs such as “Los malaventurados no lloran” and “Narcisista por excelencia.” The band documented a concert at Mexico City’s Auditorio Nacional on the live release Sinfonía Soledad, followed several years later by an MTV Unplugged performance recorded at Estudios Churubusco. After announcing an indefinite hiatus, Panda closed the Hasta el Final tour in 2016 at Arena Ciudad de México.
