Parni Valjak in Belgrade

Parni Valjak is a Croatian rock band formed in 1975 by guitarist and songwriter Husein Hasanefendić. Its catalogue includes “Uhvati ritam,” “Jesen u meni” and “Sve još miriše na nju,” recorded during the long tenure of singer Aki Rahimovski. After Rahimovski’s death in 2022, the group introduced Igor Drvenkar as its lead singer. At ZeKaeM in 1995, the band recorded Bez struje, an acoustic concert released as a live album. A farewell performance at Dom sportova followed in 2005, before the group reunited in 2009 and resumed touring. In 2022, the musicians and guest singers paid tribute to Rahimovski at Arena Zagreb in Dovoljno je reći... Aki. Parni Valjak has performed beyond Croatia in Belgrade and Ljubljana.
