Party Cannon is a Scottish slam death metal band formed in Dunfermline in 2010. Breakdowns, guttural vocals and down-tuned riffs drive releases including Bong Hit Hospitalisation, Volumes of Vomit and Injuries Are Inevitable. The band is also known for its brightly coloured, balloon-like logo, an unusual visual signature in extreme metal. Party Cannon played Bloodstock Open Air in 2015 after their logo on the festival poster drew attention well beyond the slam scene. In 2022 they joined GWAR for British dates on The Black Death Rager World Tour.
Internal Bleeding is an American death-metal band formed on Long Island, New York, in 1991. Their groove-heavy riffs and abrupt breakdowns helped shape the style known as slam death metal, documented on albums including Voracious Contempt, The Extinction of Benevolence and Driven to Conquer. The 2018 Bloodletting North America tour took Internal Bleeding through clubs on a package headed by Decrepit Birth and Arsis that also featured Pyrexia, AngelMaker and Within Destruction. That club run forms part of a live history that has also brought the band to Maryland Deathfest in Baltimore.
