About Patricia Kaas
Patricia Kaas is a French singer and actress, born in Forbach in 1966, who performs chanson and pop with jazz inflections. Her debut album, Mademoiselle chante..., established her repertoire through songs including “Mademoiselle chante le blues” and “Mon mec à moi”; later recordings brought “Il me dit que je suis belle” and “Entrer dans la lumière.”
In 1990, her first international concert tour included performances at the Olympia in Paris. She returned to international touring behind albums such as Je te dis vous and Dans ma chair, then took the music of Édith Piaf on the road in the theatrical concert production Kaas chante Piaf.
Her concert work has had a particularly strong presence in Germany and Russia, including performances in Berlin and Moscow.
