Paul Carrack in Eindhoven

Paul Carrack is a British singer, songwriter and keyboardist, born in Sheffield in 1951. His distinctive soul voice is heard on Ace’s “How Long,” Squeeze’s “Tempted” and Mike + The Mechanics’ “The Living Years,” while his solo catalogue includes “Don’t Shed a Tear.” Carrack toured as a keyboardist in Nick Lowe’s band in the 1980s and later joined Eric Clapton’s touring group, appearing in the Royal Albert Hall performances documented on 24 Nights. His own headline concerts are full-band theatre shows where he moves between keyboards and guitar and sings material from each phase of his career; those tours have included the London Palladium.
