He plays trance and progressive electronic dance music, founded Perfecto Records and is known for the album Bunkka and tracks including “Ready Steady Go,” “Southern Sun” and “Starry Eyed Surprise.” In 1988, Paul Oakenfold launched the Spectrum club night at Heaven, building sets around the Balearic records he had encountered in Ibiza. The Crystal Method is an American electronic act formed in Las Vegas in 1993 by Scott Kirkland and Ken Jordan. Their 1997 debut album, Vegas, includes the signature tracks “Busy Child,” “Keep Hope Alive” and “Trip Like I Do.” After Jordan retired from music in 2017, Kirkland retained the name as a solo project. The Crystal Method joined Korn, Limp Bizkit, Ice Cube and Rammstein on the inaugural Family Values Tour in 1998. The duo followed that arena run with a performance at Woodstock ’99, then brought material from Legion of Boom to Coachella in 2004.
