Paul Wall in Salt Lake City

Paul Wall is an American rapper from Houston, born in 1981. He first recorded with Chamillionaire and The Color Changin’ Click before establishing a solo career rooted in Houston hip-hop. His best-known tracks include “Sittin’ Sidewayz” and his verse on Mike Jones’s “Still Tippin’,” while The People’s Champ is his signature solo album. In 2022, Paul Wall performed at Bun B’s H-Town Takeover during RodeoHouston, a concert centered on the city’s rap history. The event brought him together with Slim Thug, Mike Jones and other Houston performers, and he returned the following year for Bun B’s All-American Takeover at NRG Stadium.
