Paul Wong in Rohnert Park

Paul Wong is a Chinese singer, songwriter and guitarist from Hong Kong, born in 1964. He is best known as the lead guitarist of Beyond and later became one of the band’s lead vocalists; its Cantonese rock catalogue includes “海闊天空” and “光輝歲月.” After Beyond ceased regular activity, he pursued solo work on releases including Yellow Paul Wong and Black and White. Paul Wong performed with Beyond at the Hong Kong Coliseum during the 1991 Life Contact concert series. He rejoined the band for Beyond The Story Live 2003 and its farewell tour in 2005, then presented his solo repertoire there in Paul Wong & The Postman Deliver Live in Hong Kong 2012.
