Pecos & the Rooftops are an American country-rock band formed in Lubbock, Texas, and fronted by singer-songwriter Pecos Hurley. Their music sits in the Texas country and Southern rock tradition. The band is best known for “This Damn Song,” while the albums Red Eye and Pecos & the Rooftops expanded its catalog. Pecos & the Rooftops have played Billy Bob’s Texas in Fort Worth as part of their extensive work on the Texas country circuit. They later made their Grand Ole Opry debut in Nashville.
