About Pete Holmes
Pete Holmes is an American stand-up comedian, actor, writer and podcaster, born in Lexington, Massachusetts, in 1979. He created and starred in the HBO comedy series Crashing, hosted The Pete Holmes Show on TBS and presents the long-running interview podcast You Made It Weird. His stand-up frequently addresses religion, relationships and self-examination.
In 2016, Holmes recorded the HBO special Faces and Sounds at the Vic Theatre in Chicago. He followed it with Dirty Clean, filmed at the Aladdin Theater in Portland. The 2023 Netflix special I Am Not for Everyone was recorded at the Varsity Theater in Minneapolis.
