Pete Yorn in Los Angeles

Pete Yorn is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist born in New Jersey in 1974, known for alternative rock built around direct melodies and introspective writing. His debut album, musicforthemorningafter, introduced songs including “Life on a Chain,” “Strange Condition” and “For Nancy (‘Cos It Already Is).” His catalog also includes Day I Forgot, Nightcrawler and Break Up, a collaborative album with Scarlett Johansson. In 2003, Pete Yorn joined R.E.M. for dates on their tour. That same year, he recorded the concert later released as Live from New Jersey at the Community Theatre in Morristown.
