Peter Bjorn and John in Austin

Peter Bjorn and John are a Swedish indie-pop trio formed in Stockholm in 1999 by Peter Morén, Björn Yttling and John Eriksson. They are best known for “Young Folks,” featuring guest vocalist Victoria Bergsman and its whistled melody, from the album Writer’s Block. Their catalogue also includes “Objects of My Affection” and “Second Chance.” In 2007, Peter Bjorn and John performed at Coachella in Indio during the touring cycle for Writer’s Block. Later that summer, the trio played Lollapalooza in Chicago.
