Petrol Girls in Bristol

Petrol Girls are a British punk band formed in London in 2012, initially for an International Women’s Day house show. Their feminist post-hardcore pairs abrasive guitars with Ren Aldridge’s vocals and politically direct lyrics. The band’s releases include the albums Talk of Violence, Cut & Stitch and Baby, as well as songs such as “Touch Me Again,” “Big Mouth” and “Clowns.” Petrol Girls toured clubs across Britain, continental Europe and North America as their albums appeared. Their festival performances included 2000trees and the Left Field stage at Glastonbury Festival.
