Philip Bowen in St. Augustine

Philip Bowen is an American singer-songwriter and fiddler from West Virginia whose music draws on Appalachian folk and country. He became known through fiddle arrangements shared online, then released the album Old Kanawha, featuring songs including “Vampire in Appalachia.” In 2023, Bowen reached the final of season 18 of America’s Got Talent, performing his fiddle-led arrangements on national television. He later made his Grand Ole Opry debut in Nashville, bringing his own songs and instrumental playing to the Opry stage.
