Phillip Phillips in Chicago

Phillip Phillips is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist, born in Albany, Georgia, in 1990, who plays folk-rooted pop rock. He won the eleventh season of American Idol and became known for “Home,” “Gone, Gone, Gone” and his debut album, The World from the Side of the Moon. The American Idols Live! Tour took him across the United States in 2012 after the television season ended. In 2013 he opened shows on John Mayer’s Born and Raised World Tour, followed by a co-headlining summer tour with O.A.R. in 2014.
