About Piqued Jacks
Piqued Jacks are an Italian alternative-rock band formed in Buggiano, Tuscany, in 2006. Their music draws on indie rock, funk rock and pop, and their best-known song is “Like an Animal,” San Marino’s entry at the Eurovision Song Contest 2023. Their albums include Climb Like Ivy Does, The Living Past and Synchronizer.
Piqued Jacks played SXSW in Austin and Canadian Music Week in Toronto during their international club and festival work. In 2023, their performance of “Like an Animal” won Una Voce per San Marino, leading to an appearance in the Eurovision Song Contest semi-final in Liverpool.
