About The Black Mamba
The Black Mamba are a Portuguese band formed in 2010, playing blues-rooted soul and pop. Fronted by singer and guitarist Pedro Tatanka, they are known for the albums The Black Mamba, Dirty Little Brother and The Mamba King, as well as the song “Love Is on My Side.”
In 2021, the band performed “Love Is on My Side” at Festival da Canção and won Portugal’s national selection. They then represented Portugal at the Eurovision Song Contest, taking the song into the final at Rotterdam Ahoy.
