Placebo in Frankfurt am Main

Placebo are a British alternative rock band formed in London in 1994 by Brian Molko and Stefan Olsdal. Their best-known songs include “Nancy Boy,” “Pure Morning,” “Every You Every Me” and “The Bitter End,” while key albums include Placebo, Without You I’m Nothing and Sleeping with Ghosts. Placebo opened selected dates on U2’s PopMart Tour in 1997 before building an extensive headline history of their own. The Soulmates Never Die tour reached the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy in 2003, where the band filmed a concert for the release Soulmates Never Die (Live in Paris 2003). They later recorded MTV Unplugged at The London Studios in 2015, followed by the retrospective 20 Years of Placebo tour.
