Poets of the Fall in Amsterdam

Poets of the Fall are a Finnish alternative rock band formed in Helsinki in 2003 by singer Marko Saaresto, guitarist Olli Tukiainen and keyboardist Markus Kaarlonen. They first became widely known through “Late Goodbye,” written for the video game Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne. Their best-known releases also include “Lift,” the album Signs of Life and the song and album Carnival of Rust. In 2015, the band performed at Wacken Open Air, followed in later years by the Ultraviolet Tour through Europe and India. They recorded the acoustic Alexander Theatre Sessions during the pandemic period, then resumed international concerts on the Ghostlight Tour.
