Poolside in Ojai

Poolside is an American electronic pop project formed in Los Angeles in 2011 by Jeffrey Paradise and Filip Nikolic. The pair called their relaxed mix of disco, soft rock and synth-pop “daytime disco,” a sound introduced on the album Pacific Standard Time through tracks including “Do You Believe” and a cover of Neil Young’s “Harvest Moon.” Paradise later became the project’s principal songwriter and producer, releasing albums including Heat, Low Season and Blame It All on Love. Poolside performed at Coachella in 2014 and later opened for LCD Soundsystem at the Hollywood Bowl. The project also joined Kacey Musgraves for dates on her Oh, What a World: Tour, presenting its studio material through a touring live band. Its festival appearances have included Outside Lands in San Francisco.
