Powerman 5000 in West Hollywood

Powerman 5000 is an American industrial metal band formed in Boston in 1991 by vocalist Spider One. The band is best known for the album Tonight the Stars Revolt! and its songs “When Worlds Collide” and “Nobody’s Real”; “Bombshell” later became another staple of its catalog. Powerman 5000 played Ozzfest in 1999, during the touring cycle for Tonight the Stars Revolt!. In 2000, the band moved onto stadium stages as part of Metallica’s Summer Sanitarium Tour, whose lineup also included Korn, Kid Rock and System of a Down.
