Prazsky Vyber in Liberec

Prazsky Vyber is a Czech rock band formed in Prague in 1976 by keyboardist and singer Michael Kocáb. Initially associated with jazz rock, the group developed an angular new-wave sound built around Kocáb, guitarist Michal Pavlíček and bassist Vilém Čok. Its best-known work includes the album Straka v hrsti and songs such as “Pražákům, těm je hej” and “Hrabě X.” In 1990, Prazsky Vyber opened for The Rolling Stones at Strahov Stadium. After periods of separation, its principal 1980s lineup reunited in 2012 and marked the return with an arena concert at O2 Arena.
