Primal Fear are a German heavy-metal band formed in 1997 by vocalist Ralf Scheepers and bassist Mat Sinner. Their music draws on power metal, speed metal and traditional heavy metal; key releases include the self-titled debut, Nuclear Fire, Black Sun and Devil’s Ground, which features “Metal Is Forever.” The 2009 touring cycle was documented on 16.6: All Over the World, a live album and concert video assembled from performances on that run. The Rulebreaker tour later produced Angels of Mercy: Live in Germany, filmed at LKA Longhorn in Stuttgart in 2016.
