Primal Scream in Bristol

Primal Scream are a Scottish rock band formed in 1982 and led by singer Bobby Gillespie. They play psychedelic and alternative rock shaped by indie pop, dance music and blues, and are known for the album Screamadelica and songs including “Loaded,” “Come Together,” “Movin’ on Up” and “Rocks.” In 2010, Primal Scream performed Screamadelica in full at Olympia in London, a concert followed by the Screamadelica Live tour in 2011. They returned to the album for its 30th-anniversary shows in 2022, including an outdoor concert at Alexandra Palace Park. Primal Scream have played hometown concerts at the Barrowland Ballroom in Glasgow and large outdoor sets at Glastonbury Festival.
