About Primordial
Primordial are an Irish metal band from Skerries, County Dublin, whose roots go back to 1987. They play black metal shaped by Celtic folk themes and the weight of doom metal, and are known for albums including The Gathering Wilderness and To the Nameless Dead, as well as songs such as “The Coffin Ships” and “Empire Falls.”
Primordial recorded their 2015 performance at the Bang Your Head festival in Balingen for the live album Gods to the Godless. They also performed at Wacken Open Air in Germany and Hellfest in Clisson.
