Artist
Pseudo Echo are an Australian new wave and synth-pop band formed in 1982. They became known for the albums Autumnal Park and Love an Adventure, the songs “Listening” and “A Beat for You,” and their rock-oriented cover of Lipps Inc.’s “Funky Town.” The band gave its first concert at Melbourne’s Jump Club in 1982, an appearance that brought it to the attention of Countdown presenter Molly Meldrum. In 1985, Pseudo Echo performed at Oz for Africa in the Sydney Sports and Entertainment Centre, a concert broadcast internationally as part of Live Aid.
