Psychostick & Galactic Empire in Greeley

Psychostick is an American comedy-metal band formed in Tempe, Arizona, in 2000. The group calls its mix of heavy riffs, hardcore rhythms and absurdist lyrics “humorcore”; its best-known songs include “Beer!”, “Two Ton Paperweight” and “Numbers (I Can Only Count to Four),” while We Couldn't Think of a Title established its album-length approach. After the 2006 reissue of We Couldn't Think of a Title, Psychostick toured nationally with Mushroomhead and Look What I Did. The band later returned to North American clubs as the headliner of its seasonal Holiday Hate tour.

Galactic Empire is an American instrumental metal band formed in 2015, known for performing heavy, technically precise arrangements of music from Star Wars while dressed as characters from the films. A video of “The Imperial March” introduced the project to a wide audience, followed by the albums Galactic Empire and Episode II. In 2017, Galactic Empire performed at Download Festival as its costumed stage show moved beyond the band’s early videos. The group later opened selected US dates for Babymetal and mounted its own club and theatre runs in North America and Europe. Each concert is played by a full band, placing guitars, bass and drums at the center of John Williams’s themes.
