Purple Disco Machine is the disco-house project created in Dresden by German DJ and producer Tino Piontek. He is known for the albums Soulmatic and Exotica and tracks including “Body Funk,” “Hypnotized,” “Fireworks” and “Dopamine.” His remix of Lizzo’s “About Damn Time” won the Grammy Award for Best Remixed Recording. Purple Disco Machine performed at Coachella in 2022, presenting his catalogue in a festival DJ set. His live history also includes DJ sets at Tomorrowland, another major setting for his disco and house productions.
