Quadro Nuevo in Gleisdorf

Quadro Nuevo is a German acoustic quartet formed in 1996, known for instrumental music rooted in tango, jazz and Mediterranean traditions. Albums including Mocca Flor, Tango Bitter Sweet and Flying Carpet established the group’s repertoire of original compositions and reworked dance forms. Quadro Nuevo has toured internationally since its early years, performing in theatres, concert halls and at jazz and world-music festivals. Its concert format brings together saxophones and clarinets, accordion and bandoneon, piano, double bass and percussion, and the quartet has performed at the Montreal International Jazz Festival and JazzAscona.
