About Québec Redneck Bluegrass Project
Québec Redneck Bluegrass Project is a Canadian band formed in 2006 by Quebec musicians living in China. Its French-language songs draw on bluegrass and folk, delivered with a punk-rock charge. The group is known for albums including 3000 boulevard de Mess and Scandale et bonne humeur, as well as songs such as “Tsé quand ça va ben” and “Pantera Arctic Cat Triple 800.”
The group played its earliest shows while the members were abroad, then established an extensive concert presence after returning to Quebec. Its later appearances have included an arena headline show at Montreal’s Bell Centre and a performance on the Plains of Abraham during Festival d’été de Québec.
