Queen are a British rock band formed in London in 1970 by Freddie Mercury, Brian May and Roger Taylor; bassist John Deacon joined the following year. Their music ranges across hard rock, glam rock, art rock and pop, and their best-known recordings include “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “We Will Rock You,” “We Are the Champions,” “Another One Bites the Dust” and the albums A Night at the Opera and The Game.

Queen recorded two 1981 concerts at the Montreal Forum for the film later released as Queen Rock Montreal. Their 1985 Live Aid set at Wembley Stadium was broadcast worldwide, and the 1986 Magic Tour ended at Knebworth Park in the band’s final concert with Freddie Mercury.

Queen performed at the first Rock in Rio in 1985. Decades later, Queen + Adam Lambert headlined the Isle of Wight Festival in 2016.
