Artists
Radney Foster is an American country singer-songwriter born in 1959 in Del Rio, Texas. He recorded with Bill Lloyd as Foster & Lloyd before beginning a solo career; his best-known work includes the album Del Rio, TX 1959 and the songs “Nobody Wins” and “Just Call Me Lonesome.” He also wrote “Raining on Sunday,” recorded by Keith Urban, and “A Real Fine Place to Start,” recorded by Sara Evans. The 2001 live album Are You Ready for the Big Show? captured Radney Foster in concert at the Continental Club in Austin. He has also performed his songwriter-led country repertoire at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville.
Kelly Willis is an American country singer-songwriter, born in Lawton, Oklahoma, and closely associated with the Austin music scene. Her catalogue includes the albums Well Travelled Love, What I Deserve, Easy and Back Being Blue, as well as the songs “Not Forgotten You” and “What I Deserve.” In 2013, Kelly Willis toured with Bruce Robison behind their duet album Cheater’s Game, and the partnership continued with Our Year. She returned to solo dates after Back Being Blue, performing in theatres and listening rooms with a band. Willis and Robison have also presented the recurring Holiday Shindig concerts in Texas.
