Raffi in Hamilton

Raffi is an Egyptian-born Canadian children’s singer and songwriter, born Raffi Cavoukian in Cairo in 1948. He became known through the album Singable Songs for the Very Young and songs including “Baby Beluga,” “Down by the Bay” and “Bananaphone.” A Young Children’s Concert with Raffi documented a family-show format built around his singing, acoustic guitar and audience participation. Raffi in Concert with the Rise and Shine Band added a full backing group, while Raffi on Broadway brought his family concerts to the stage in New York.
