About Raghu Dixit

Raghu Dixit is an Indian singer-songwriter and film composer, born in Mysore in 1974. As leader of the Raghu Dixit Project, he plays Kannada folk rock and is known for songs including “Mysore Se Aayi” and “Gudugudiya Sedi Nodo,” as well as the albums Raghu Dixit and Jag Changa.

In 2011, the Raghu Dixit Project performed at Glastonbury Festival and appeared on Later... with Jools Holland. The following year, the group performed at the Diamond Jubilee Pageant at Windsor Castle in a programme staged for Queen Elizabeth II.
