Raine Maida is a Canadian alternative-rock singer-songwriter, born in Toronto in 1970 and best known as the lead vocalist of Our Lady Peace. He co-founded the band in 1992 and sang on songs including “Clumsy,” “Superman’s Dead” and “Somewhere Out There.” His solo work began with the 2007 album The Hunter’s Lullaby.

In 1999, Raine Maida fronted Our Lady Peace at Woodstock 1999; the following year, the band organized and headlined the Canadian Summersault festival tour. After releasing The Hunter’s Lullaby, he performed his own material in smaller acoustic settings, and he later toured with Chantal Kreviazuk as the duo Moon Vs Sun.
