Rakim in Nashville

Rakim is an American rapper born in Wyandanch, New York, in 1968. He first became known as one half of Eric B. & Rakim, whose catalog includes “Paid in Full,” “Follow the Leader,” “Microphone Fiend” and “Don’t Sweat the Technique.” His solo albums include The 18th Letter and The Master. Rakim performed at Rock the Bells during the festival’s original run. In 2017, he reunited with Eric B. for a Paid in Full anniversary concert at the Apollo Theater in New York, and the reunion led to a 2018 tour across the United States.
