Randy Hansen in Aschaffenburg

Randy Hansen is an American guitarist and singer, born in Seattle in 1954, who is known for performing the music of Jimi Hendrix and recreating elements of Hendrix’s stagecraft. He also released the album Randy Hansen and contributed Hendrix-style guitar work to the soundtrack of Francis Ford Coppola’s Apocalypse Now. In the late 1970s, he began presenting his Hendrix tribute in clubs and concert halls. He later toured with a bass-and-drums power trio and performed with Hendrix associates Mitch Mitchell and Buddy Miles. Club and theatre engagements have become a substantial part of his live work in Germany.
