Randy Travis in Philadelphia

Randy Travis is an American country and gospel singer, born in North Carolina in 1959. His baritone voice and traditional country style became widely known through the albums Storms of Life and Always & Forever, and songs including “On the Other Hand,” “Forever and Ever, Amen,” “I Told You So” and “Three Wooden Crosses.” The Grand Ole Opry inducted him as a member in 1986. After a 2013 stroke affected his ability to sing, The Music of Randy Travis Tour brought him back before audiences in 2019 as a special guest while vocalist James Dupré and Travis’s touring band performed his songs. On the later More Life Tour, Randy Travis appears onstage for a concert centered on his catalog and longtime band.
