Artist
Rantanplan are a German ska-punk band formed in Hamburg in 1995. Their music pairs punk rhythms and brass with German-language lyrics; the debut album Kein Schulterklopfen (Gegen den Trend), “Hamburg, 8°, Regen” and the album Stay Rudel – Stay Rebel are central works in their catalogue. Rantanplan have toured as a full band since the 1990s, playing punk clubs and outdoor festivals. Their hometown Christmas concerts have included shows at Fabrik, while their festival history includes Ruhrpott Rodeo.
