Rascal Flatts is an American country-pop trio formed in Nashville in 1999 by Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney. The group is known for close vocal harmonies and crossover songs including “Bless the Broken Road,” “What Hurts the Most,” “My Wish” and its version of “Life Is a Highway,” as well as the albums Feels Like Today and Me and My Gang. Rascal Flatts headlined North American arenas on the Me and My Gang Tour in 2006 and the Still Feels Good Tour in 2007. After a pause in group activity that began in 2020, the trio returned to the road in 2025 with the Life Is a Highway Tour.
