Rayland Baxter in Los Angeles

Rayland Baxter is an American singer-songwriter from Tennessee whose music draws on Americana, alternative country and indie rock. The son of pedal-steel guitarist Bucky Baxter, he introduced his songwriting on feathers & fishHooks and became known for records including Imaginary Man, Wide Awake and If I Were a Butterfly, as well as songs such as “Yellow Eyes” and “Casanova.” Rayland Baxter has toured North America as a headliner, presenting his songs with a full band in clubs and theatres. His festival appearances have included Bonnaroo and the Newport Folk Festival.
