Rea Garvey in Vienna

Rea Garvey is an Irish singer-songwriter, born in Tralee in 1973, who built his career in Germany. He became known as the lead singer of Reamonn, whose songs include “Supergirl” and “Tonight,” before moving into solo pop-rock with “Can’t Stand the Silence,” “Wild Love” and “Oh My Love.” The Can’t Stand the Silence Tour followed his first solo album and began a run of headline concerts under his own name. He later toured Pride and Neon, then returned to the road for the Hy Brasil Tour, performing with his band in theatres and arenas. He plays most extensively in Germany and also takes his headline shows to Austria and Switzerland.
