Reb Fountain is a New Zealand singer-songwriter, born in San Francisco and based in Auckland, whose music draws on alternative folk, blues and rock. She is known for the albums Reb Fountain and Iris, and for songs including “Samson” and “Don’t You Know Who I Am”; Reb Fountain won the Taite Music Prize. Nick Cave selected her to support his solo New Zealand concerts. In 2020 she presented her self-titled album at Auckland Town Hall, a performance later released as a concert film, and she subsequently joined Crowded House for dates on the To the Island tour.
