Rebekka Bakken in Linz

Rebekka Bakken is a Norwegian singer-songwriter, born in Oslo in 1970, who works across vocal jazz, folk, blues and pop. Her catalogue includes recordings with Austrian guitarist Wolfgang Muthspiel, notably Daily Mirror and Beloved, and solo albums such as The Art of How to Fall, Morning Hours and Little Drop of Poison, a collection of Tom Waits songs. Rebekka Bakken has presented her solo catalogue in theatres, concert halls and jazz festivals, performing her own songs and selected interpretations with a band. She has brought that repertoire to Leverkusener Jazztage in Germany and JazzFest Wien in Austria.
