Getting there
The amphitheatre lies beyond Denver's urban transit network, with no regular rail service to the venue, so visitors generally arrive by car or a prebooked event shuttle.
About Red Rocks Amphitheatre
Red Rocks Amphitheatre is an open air concert venue set within the dramatic sandstone formations of Red Rocks Park near Morrison, Colorado. With a seated capacity of around 9,500, it hosts a busy schedule of concerts, comedy shows and special events throughout the warmer months.
Known for its natural acoustics and striking views over the foothills west of Denver, Red Rocks has become a landmark stop for major touring artists and beloved regulars like The String Cheese Incident, The Avett Brothers and Brandi Carlile. The amphitheatre is part of a larger park with hiking trails and scenic overlooks, so many visitors combine a show with time exploring the surrounding landscape.
