About Redman
Redman is an American rapper from Newark, New Jersey, known for his animated delivery, offbeat humor and East Coast hip-hop records including “Time 4 Sum Aksion,” “Tonight’s da Night” and the album Muddy Waters. He is a member of Def Squad and has a long-running partnership with Method Man, heard on the albums Blackout! and Blackout! 2 and the track “Da Rockwilder.”
In 1999, Redman and Method Man joined Jay-Z, DMX and DJ Clue on the Hard Knock Life Tour. Their Blackout! collaboration developed into years of joint concerts, and the duo later performed at multiple editions of Rock the Bells.
